The first community board I created for Chick-fil-A Western & Sierra Vista. This hand drawn display was designed to celebrate the holiday season while promoting returning limited time menu items, which included the Chicken Tortilla Soup, Peppermint Beverages, and the 30-Count Nuggets Tray. The goal was to create a festive and eye catching display that welcomed guests and highlighted seasonal offerings.

After very positive feedback on the first board, I was trusted to do the second community board to promote Chick-fil-A’s new dessert/beverage lineup, including the Frosted Sodas and Soda Floats. The design also highlighted the limited-edition collectible cups available for purchase. I used bold colors and playful illustrations to capture guests’ attention and generate excitement around the launch of new items.

This is the third community board. This board was created to promote Chick-fil-A’s new Jalapeño Ranch Club Sandwich and Strawberry Hibiscus beverages, two of the restaurant’s featured seasonal menu items. To reinforce Chick-fil-A’s playful brand identity, I incorporated the official Cow mascots into the design while using bright, spring inspired colors and dynamic composition to draw attention to the new offerings and create an engaging in store display for guests.

The fourth, and hopefully not the last community board in this ongoing series. This board was created to promote the return of Chick-fil-A’s Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages alongside the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich. Of the four boards, this is my personal favorite.

By this project, I was able to apply everything I had learned from the previous boards and continue refining my skills in character illustration, typography, visual hierarchy, color blending, and overall composition. Each project challenged me to improve both creatively and technically, resulting in my strongest work to date.

As new seasonal menu items are introduced, I hope to continue collaborating with Chick-fil-A on future community boards. This page will be updated as new projects are completed. So stay tuned!

As a designer whose background is primarily in digital art, transitioning to traditional media was both exciting and challenging. This experience pushed me outside my comfort zone and helped me grow as an artist by strengthening my illustration, typography, composition, and creative problem solving skills.

I’m incredibly thankful for the trust and encouragement I received throughout these projects, and I look forward to continuing our partnership as new seasonal campaigns and creative opportunities arise.
